The Lowy Institute's Program Director for International Security, Rory Medcalf, was yesterday's Lowy Lunch speaker, talking about nuclear deterrence and nuclear proliferation in Northeast Asia. Rory came away from a recent visit to the region with a very sobering view of this 'wicked problem'. But as you'll hear in his speech, he makes some practical policy recommendations for a safer region.
